Personaliza tu boda / Have a personalize wedding

Hello everyone,
As you know from previous post, I got married a few months ago, adn that's why I'm writing about weddings in several of my entries.
Today's post is about my own wedding. Like the previous post in which I showed you how I used cans to show the our wedding favor, today I'm showing you a good idea for the rice, as in Spain we throw rice to the brand new married cuople. These are easy-to-do cloth flowers which held the rice inside. Here you have the step-by-step pictures.
Hope you like it.

Materiales:

Materials:
- A piece of cloth (with 2 mettres you get about 20 flowers)
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Brochette sticks
- Tape

The first thing to do is to draw circles on the cloth. To do that, I previously made a pattern.

Cut the circle. I recommend you to cut them more like a square, it would be easier for you.

Bend the square of cloth. You'd get a semi-circle.

Ahora toca coser.

Now it's time for sewing. You're not going to sew the whole circle. It's needed to leave a space at the end, in order to be able to turn it over.

Cortamos el exceso de tela.

Cut the extra cloth.

You'll get something similar to this. You need to sew the edge in order to get it nicer.
Once you've done this,it is necessary to sew a basting at the straight part wich will help us to curl the bottom of the flower.

You need to wrap the sticks with the tape.

This was the final result. Rice was inside the flower-bud.
Our guests threw the rice and could keep the flower as a souvenir.

Bodas, bodas, bodas II / Weddings, weddings, weddings II

Hi there!
Today another post up on weddings. I'm showing you some ways for carrying your wedding rings. I hope you like them.

A nice burlap cushion decorated with flores and the word LOVE, I love it!

I think this heart made with rope is really nice and very easy to be made. The flowers give a romantic touch.

Frame the word LOVE and tie your wedding rings or create your initials and frame them, nice and creative!

Espero que os haya gustado.

I hope you like it.

Bodas, bodas, bodas... / Weddings, weddings weddings...

Hola a todos/as!

Hello everyone!
It's been 4 months since we got married, OMG! 4 months already! Let's go to the point. Organizing a wedding requires a lot of planning, even more if you are a diy lover as I am. My research of any kind of nice things related to weddings gave me enough material to write one, two or even three new posts.

Today I'm showing some really cheap ideas to make the decoration of your wedding nice and original.

Centro de mesa con botes de cristal.

Use jars to set flowers on the tables.

¿Latas?

Cans? Yes, cans. These are hang and are used as vases.

Set several candles inside jars and dress them as you want. These ones are dressed with burlap.

These bottles dresses with red rope and the word LOVE on them, make them a must.

We continue using jars. These ones are dressed with blond lace and a heart made of felt. You can use them as you want.

¡Espero que os haya gustado el post!

Hope you like this post!

INDIA. Tiaras y tocados

Hola a todos/as!
Hoy voy a hablaros de INDIA. Tiara y tocados.

Hi everyone!
Todoy I'm talking about INDIA. Tiara y tocados. This is a 100% Spanish and young brand which makes nice complements for women. They mainly create head-dresses and flower crowns. The material used are natural and they treat them carefully to get great results.

Here there are some of their beutiful crowns.

Me parecen que son preciosas y delicadas.

I think they're so cute.

As I told you on previous posts, I got married on last September and I chose one of the flower crowns that are made in India, for such an special day.
I got to know the brand last summer during a pop up in El Puerto de Santa María organized by Seven Days and Company. There also were other firms such as MrBoho or Biombo13.
I was looking for something to wear on my hair on the wedding day, bu I wanted it to be simply and smart. I remembered a few months before the wedding my mum telling me that I would like to wear a hippy daisy crown, hahahaha, she was not really wrong, but in the end, and thanks to INDIA. Tiara y tocados, (and two great friends of mine who wanted to give me the crown, Félix y Yolanda), I found the cute flower crown I wore that day.
I leave here a picture of the crown and also one of my outfit.

I have to thank Celia for her magnificient job and her care, from the first moment we met at El Puerto de Santamaria to some days ago when she made a compilation record and there appeared this picture of us.

Aquí tenéis algunas imágenes más.

Here you've got some more pictures.

And her last creation is this nice porcelain belt. Any bride will look great on it.

And if you're not the bride, have a look at their web INDIA. Tiara y tocados, you'll sure find a nice head-dress for a wedding party.

Espero que os haya gustado el post. Un saludo!

I hope you like today's post!

La vuelta / Come back

After a long while without writting on the blog, today I said: "Come on! Lazyness out! Back to work on the blog!". And here I am, back full of energy to show nice things I find in the web and, of course, my own creations.

And talking about creations, today I bring one of the craft I did for our wedding on 28th september.

It is normal that in weddings the couple offer their guests a present just to say thank you. I wasn't really amazed with the idea of going around tables giving our guests a pin or a cigar. Fortunately, our friends from Cómete el mundo make it really easy for us and prepared these nice cookies with our wedding logo, which was designed by my husband, as you can see everything was hand-made.

On this picture it isn't easy to see that the cookies were as a lollipop, which was great to set them as a show.

Tachan!

I just used a can, yes one of those in which tomatoes are held!. You just need spray paint and some rope to make them so cute. Some friends of mine asked where I bought them :-D

Here you've got some pictures of the process.
